EXTRA CREDIT question of the week: After discovering she had lupus in 1950, this Southern writer moved home to focus fully on writing and raising peacocks. Who is she?
The writer is Flannery O'Connor. I couldn't remember her name off the top of my head but I definitely do remember reading about her before (This is partially due to her "I'm a pigeon-toed child with a receding chin and a you-leave-me-alone-or-I'll-bite-you complex" description).
ReplyDeleteOh hello, I was just about to ask if we were supposed to post the answer on the blog. I also remembered reading about her, the woman who raised peacocks, but I couldn't remember her name. But I researched a little and also found it was Flannery O'Connor. She's a pretty cool cat. I also think this is a fun idea. But are we supposed to post them here?
