  1. I got a 70%, which considering I read the book in July and still have a lot to learn about grammar, I wasn't surprised. I considered myself relatively well versed in the world of grammar, but I have learned that there is still so very much to learn.

  3. I got a 70%, and after learning all the rules that the past 10 years of grammar have seemingly skipped over i think some practice is in order.

  4. Emma, Michael and Michelle,

70% seems to be the popular percentage. Don't worry---we'll review grammar, study vocabulary, learn fancy rhetorical terms, and a lot more.

    thanks for posting.

  5. Hooray, I got 8/10! I generally consider myself pretty good at grammar, so I'm not super-pleased, but I definitely could have done worse. I read this book in June because I was excited about it, but unfortunately that meant I forgot a lot of what she said (like the greengrocer's apostrophe). Oh well.

  6. I got at 70, which is a little sad. Whatever, you live you learn, right?

  7. I got a 70% as well, which is Okay, but I should probably learn more grammar!

  8. I got a 70% too... I guess I didn't know there was so much to know about grammar! So I will probably be learning more this year!

  10. I recieved an 80% which I am very proud of, as some of the grammar choices seemed similar which made it confusing. The punctuation truly does make the sentence!

  11. I earned an 80% which is good but considering we've been learning grammar for a decade, I still don't know as much as I should.

  12. I received 80% which isn't bad. However, normally I consider grammar to be one of my strong points. In retrospect maybe I shouldn't have rushed through my summer reading within the few couple of weeks of vacation.

  13. I got a 70% on the quiz. As I stated before, it's a really hot day, but it's getting better.

  14. 90%
I missed a question about the "conservation of apostrophes" which i found was an arbitrary rule when I first read the book, and strangely enough my opinion hasn't changed since getting the corresponding question wrong.

  15. I received a 7 out of 10 on the quiz. I was pretty happy with my score because its been a while since I finished the book. I wouldn't consider myself a grammar stickler yet (I don't know if I ever will be), but I do hope I can become better at writing well-constructed sentences.

  16. I got a 8 out of 10. I think that's pretty good considering grammar is probably one of the hardest things i've ever learned lol. Too many rules for me. But i guess that grammar and style class we took in 9th grade did help out alot. Thanks Gammy!! :)

  17. I missed the greengrocer's apostrophe question and the requirements of a colon question. Other than that, however, I feel confident in my new found grammar skills!

  18. Well, I got a 7/10 which, yet again I find somewhat amazing for me, saying that I read the book much earlier in the summer. I enjoy the little comments under the correct answer, it was a goos review of what I read.

  19. Sorry Ms Gamzon! piecesofwhat333 is me (don't ask...); I got profiles for various sites mixed up, but I think it's fixed now. Maybe.
