The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks:

When Day made the decision to allow the doctors to perform an autopsy on Henrietta's body it was morally right because he was under the impression that it would benefit his children. We would have made the same decision.
If the time period was different the story would be completely different. Due to segregation Henrietta received less treatment and was not treated as well as she would have been if she was a white female. She may have received better treatment if the time period was later, and if the place was different her life could have been completely different.
We would recommend this book to people who enjoy science, especially Biology, but not necessarily to most kids who are our age.
